Stick, Steal, Earn... The Collecting system on STICKR ensures content that is posted remains on topic and allows high quality contributors to earn for their posts.

How it Works: Adding a Sicker to a Board is free.

Once a Sticker is posted, it can be Collected (also referred to as "Stealing"). Once a Sticker is Collected once, it begins earning a portion of trading fees from the Board's Shares, proportional to it's Upvotes.

The first Collection costs $1. This is distributed as such: $0.66 goes back to the Sticker Creator $0.33 goes to increasing Board Share price (see Bonding Curve Mechanics.)

Another user can now Collect this Sticker for 1.1x the last price. This user pays $1.10. This is distributed as such: $1.03 goes back to the previous Collector $0.33 goes to original Sticker Creator $0.33 goes to increasing Board Share price This user now earns this Sticker's Share fees from the Board. Collecting continues in this manner, with each previous Collector being bought-out, and future earnings for that Sticker being "stolen" by the most recent Collector.
